Kay-Jay Products, a subsidiary of Phillips Precision, offers the Inspection Arsenal workholding kit for lean ¸ßÅâÂÊÁùºÏ²Ê inspection. The trigger-action, non-marring clamps can be used with one hand, and they eliminate the need for glue or tape. According to the company, parts can be changed quickly and users can “fixture up” to document multiple setups. The flexible system is designed to handle virtually any part, from one-piece to multi-part fixtures, and components are compatible with existing plates and components.
By setting up a kit for each ¸ßÅâÂÊÁùºÏ²Ê, users can reduce setup times and machine downtime, the company says. The kits reduce inspection bottlenecks on the shop floor, which improves productivity, the company says.
Two kits are available, each with more than 40 pieces. Additional modules and customized kits are also available.
