Parlec’s SimulFit dual-contact taper toolholding system is available on ER collet chucks, shell mill holders, end mill holders and milling chucks. The full line of toolholders is offered for CAT and BT, and the system can be used just like any standard toolholder, the company says. Designed to improve performance, the SimulFit system offers improved rigidity of the tool connection with contact on the spindle face and taper. Its stiffer connection makes it suitable for high-speed machining applications, especially for use in heavy milling or long-reach systems.
