offers shrink-fit machines that are reliable and simply to use. Induction coil technology enables tool changes in 3-6 sec, automatically selected based on the tool diameter. Moreover, the toolholder is never handled or exposed until properly cooled back to normal temperature, improving user safety.
Techniks says that its shrink-fit toolholders feature low tool runout for an even chip load to improve part finish and extend tool life. Also, shrink-fit toolholders are more narrow than collet chuck, enabling access to machine hard-to-reach workpiece cavities.
The company offers a range of shrink fit toolholders from standard shrink holders, slim nose, coolant ported, thick walls for heavy milling applications and a modular shrink system for maximum flexibility. All toolholders are balanced and backed by a one-year warranty; Techniks offers customers a loaner machine in the event a machine needs to be serviced.
