Marubeni Citizen-Cincom’s Laser System L2000 is incorporated into a Cincom L20EIX Swiss turning center, combining laser and conventional machining to increase productivity and throughput. With the addition of an auto-loading bar-feed system, multiple 12-ft. lengths of material can be loaded to enable continuous laser and conventional machining. According to the company, the flexible system can be retrofitted to existing machines as well as on new machines.
