Carmex’s square shank holders provide through-coolant capability and are designed for use with the company’s 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-mm diameter Tiny Tools. Featuring a compact, rigid design, the holders are said to provide accurate tool location for operations such as boring, back turning, profiling, threading, chamfering, grooving and more. A special adapter simplifies the coolant connection. According to the company, the toolholders increase stability and help minimize vibration for increased accuracy, improved finish and extended tool life.
