Performance Machinery will display the OPS-Ingersoll Eagle PowerTec EDM, which features “low-wear” sinker EDM technology designed to burn faster and use less graphite. In addition to graphite cost savings, the machine offers reduced CNC milling time, reduced programming time and the use of fewer cutters for increased profitability, Performance says.
The PowerTec Eagle EDM offers a rigid gantry design with the capacity to handle large workpieces. It provides aggressive material removal with low wear on the electrodes. The machine is equipped with a large toolchanger and on-board programming with a user-friendly conversational CNC.
