Kurt’s MaxLock HP series of self-centering vises are designed for maximum five-axis workholding rigidity. The AngLock design and new lift control system are said to combat jaw deflection and part lift. With ±0.0005" repeatability, these vises provide a centerline that easily adjusts to the center of the table rotation. They can also achieve both OD and ID clamping of parts. The vises are available in 5", 7" and 9" long models with either serrated or dovetail jaws.
