FANUC’s LR Mate 200iD mini robot is built the size of a human arm to enable operational flexibility. This slim arm with integrated power, signal and air is said to minimize interference with peripheral devices. Equipment such as cabling, air tubes and valves is enclosed within the dustproof and waterproof device. The robot’s standard reach measures 717 mm, though short-reach arms for 550-mm reach and long-reach arms for 911-mm reach are also available.
According to the company, the lightweight robot easily adapts to in-machine integration as well as wall or inverted mounting. Vision and force sensors are available for tailoring it to specific applications. The robot offers a 4 to 7 kg payload and is suitable for high-speed and precision applications such as machine tending, material handling, assembly, picking, packing and material removal.
