Kaiser Tool Company Inc. has expanded its offering ThinBit toolholders with Swiss Angled Toolholders. These toolholders are designed for top slide position on a Swiss screw machine. The angled toolholders position the insert at 30°, 45° or 60° angles for reliefs, undercuts and angled OD and face grooves. Toolholders are available in square shank sizes.
The angled toolholders are for use with ThinBit inserts in grades for ferrous and nonferrous materials. Inserts are available in sizes ranging from 0.004” to 0.150” in 0.001” increments. The toolholders are available uncoated or coated with TiN, TiAlN, TiCN or diamond film.
The company says modifications can be provided on any of its tooling. Due to the potential complexity of configuring these toolholders, they recommend calling for assistance.
