The company says its new back clamp-style cut-off toolholder increases productivity. The clamp is said to simplify insert replacement in comb-type Swiss machines. The placement of the clamp also facilitates smooth chip evacuation, according to the company. The inserts are available in PR930, a micro grain coated carbide. The company says that two sharp edges per insert reduce tooling cost and provide an excellent finish.
