Blue Photon will demonstrate its photo-activated adhesive workholding system. These workholding products are designed to hold parts for tight-tolerance machining and inspection. Complexly shaped, hard-to-hold parts and delicate materials like ceramic and laminated composites are particularly suited to Blue Photon’s workholding technology, which supplies up to 605 lbs of tensile holding power. Parts that are at risk of distortion from traditional clamping or that pose complications in fixture design is a potential candidate for Blue Photon’s grippers and BlueGrip workholding adhesive.
