Matsuura Machinery will feature its MX-520 PC4, a four-pallet automated version of the MX-520 single-table, five-axis VMC, which was designed for customers seeking an automation solution. The VMC is equipped with 90 tools and a Universal Robot interface for added automation potential. It offers multiple configurations for different applications, industries and materials and is suited for users transitioning from three- to five-axis machining, according to the company.
The VMC is said to maintain high rigidity with a large machining envelope .
A Maxia high-torque spindle provides 12,000 rpm. A high-torque (187.0-Nm) motor for machining hard-to-cut materials, and a 20,000-rpm (108.7-Nm) spindle for high-speed machining of aluminum, are also available.
The VMCs feature CAMplete TruePath software, an integrated suite of G-code editing, optimization, analysis and verification tools. A FANUC 31i CNC is installed and integrated with the software, ensuring ease of use, status at a glance and operability.
