Calculated Industries will showcase a Windows-compatible software version of its Machinist Calc Pro handheld calculator, and apps for iPhones and Android phones. The recently released software program enables machining math calculations without requiring users to leave their estimating, scheduling, CAD/CAM, CNC or machining programs. Precision machining outputs for tasks such as bolt pattern layouts can be printed or pasted into spreadsheets, plans and instructions. Dedicated functions include built-in drill and thread-size tables; drill-point cut-depth solutions; cutting and spindle speeds; bolt-pattern hole layouts; cutting feed and feed rate; trigonometric solutions; and others. The program is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 operating systems.
