Shop Floor Automations offers its Predator DNC Enterprise software for controlling and managing network-based CNCs. The program uses an 801.11 B/G wireless CNC adapter for faster communication to machine tools with RJ45 network connectors and DB25 serial ports. The software closes the communication loop to reduce errors and improve overall efficiency, the company says.
The company will also demonstrate its Scytec Data Exchange program for machine monitoring and data collection, the USB Connect device for adding a memory stick to CNC controls, and a USB to Floppy Emulator device for transferring programs to a USB drive without retrofitting the controller.
